India Women Chase Down Target in 18.3 Overs Despite Rain Interruption

The Indian Women's Cricket Team has advanced to the final of the Women's Asia Cup 2024 after defeating Bangladesh Women by 56 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in the first semi-final at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, May 6, 2024.

In a rain-affected match, Bangladesh Women batted first and posted a competitive total of 122/6 in their allotted 20 overs, with Shorifa Khatun top-scoring with an unbeaten 29. India Women, in reply, chased down the revised target of 67 runs in 18.3 overs, losing three wickets in the process.

With this victory, India Women will now face either Pakistan Women or Sri Lanka Women in the final of the tournament, which will be played on Saturday, May 10, 2024.
