Meadows Testifies in Georgia Courtroom

Mark Meadows, Donald Trump's former White House chief of staff, testified in a federal courtroom in Georgia on Monday that he helped question the 2020 presidential election results. Meadows is charged with 18 others with trying to overturn Georgia's 2020 election results and is heading to court on Monday to try to have his case moved into federal court.

Meadows Requests Supreme Court to Recognize Immunity for Presidents Subordinates

Meadows has requested the Supreme Court to recognize immunity for presidents' subordinates. He pointed to another exchange from the hearing between Justice Department lawyer Jeffrey Wall and US District Judge William M. Ray II.

January 6 Committee Votes to Hold Meadows in Contempt

The January 6 committee has voted to hold Meadows in contempt for his refusal to cooperate with its investigation into the attack on the U.S. Capitol. The contempt resolution will now go to the House floor for a vote.
